QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience
GENRIC and its designated agents and representatives will conduct a comprehensive review of all background, criminal history record, motor vehicle reports and a pre-employment drug screening of all applicants. This information will be used, in part, to determine eligibility for an employment position with GENRIC.
Job requirements:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property on foot patrols; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
- Respond to requests for assistance related to safety and security.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Must be capable of understanding and carrying out routine instructions.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be familiar with standard security concepts and procedures.
- Must have the physical capacity to perform required tasks including walking patrols.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the client.
- Must possess acceptable verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a pleasant personality; must be dependable.
- Works under general Supervision.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no serious violations.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- If former military, you must be able to supply a DD-214 showing honorable discharge.
