Job requirements:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property on foot and driving patrols; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Verifying checkpoints are safe and clear throughout the shift.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
- Respond to requests for assistance related to safety and security.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Security Guard or in a related area.
- Must be capable of understanding and carrying out routine instructions.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must be able to properly and safely operate all work-related equipment, including but not limited to vehicles, security equipment, computers and other electronic devices.
- Must be familiar with standard security concepts and procedures.
- Must have the physical capacity to perform required tasks including walking patrols.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the client.
- Must possess acceptable verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a pleasant personality; must be dependable.
- Works under general Supervision.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no serious violations.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- If former military, you must be able to supply a DD-214 showing honorable discharge.
