Gross Pay: $2300/Wk

Stipend: $1729/Wk

Shift Schedule: 40hrs/Wk - 5x8's - 8a - 4:30p

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound tests on patients using specialized equipment.
• Prepare patients for the exam, explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Ensure patients are comfortable and calm during the procedure.
• Analyze images to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist physicians in the interpretation of test results.
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements:

• Accredited degree program in sonography or ultrasound technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of imaging principles, anatomy, physiology and pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
