Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree or completion of a Sonography certification program
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient/health care experience (accredited program may count as experience)
- Registered by RDMS in Physics and one of the following upon initial hire date: Abdomen, OB/GYN or RVT
- Registered or Registry-eligible for any certification not held at the time of initial hire as follows:
- *Must have registries in each of the following within 90-day orientation period:
- Physics
- Abdomen or OB/GYN
- RVT
- In-depth knowledge of adult, pediatric, neonatal and fetal physiology, cross-sectional and vascular anatomy
- Experience and ability to recognize normal and abnormal findings
- Demonstration of clear and concise verbal and communication skills
- Patient care and effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Associates or Bachelor degree from an accredited ultrasound program
- BLS certification
- Experience with varying ultrasound equipment systems and procedures
- Experience and training in neonatal environment
