Job Description
The position of UI State Call Support Specialist is to verify and accurately enter data into the system, index documents, and communicate with clients and state adjudicators as required. They should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within their job role. They must have the ability to take initiative and work independently with little supervision as well as work well with varying levels of internal management while maintaining positive working relationships with clients, peers, and other team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, review and index State Call documents that are submitted from state adjudicators in a timely and accurately manner
- Utilize state websites, client provided websites, and internal applications to locate claimant data and information
- Review unemployment case files and communicate information to state adjudicators within specified time frame
- Document activity in all internal platforms as necessary
- Assist with indexing unemployment documents as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 1 + year of administrative experience required
- Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook
- Able to define priorities and handle multiple tasks and projects
- Reason logically and abstractly, and be able to negotiate and drive effective changes
- Adaptable; able to change focus quickly
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact tactfully
- Must be able to maintain positive working relationships with clients, peers, team members, and leadership
- Must be able to deal with stressful situations to achieve desired business results
- Strong, detail oriented, organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
