Job Title: Tribal Advocacy Program Director
Location: Fairbanks, Alaska

Job Summary:
Healy Lake Village Council is developing an advocacy division. The coordinator will be responsible for leading their team of advocates as they provide support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and human trafficking. Duties will consist of managing various administrative tasks, tracking the budget, and ensuring that the program meets the council's goals.
Responsibilities:
Creating policy and procedures for the advocacy department
Creating resources for outreach and community education
Build relationships and network with community partners
Provide advocacy on behalf of the victims(s) including but not limited to:
Assist victims in completing, filing court documents like protection orders
Preparing victims and witness for court
Providing emotional support
Case management services
Identifying community support: medical, childcare, economic, and other community appointment
Safety planning
Uphold confidentiality policy
Follow up with team on cast load
Maintain reports, documents, case files, and program budgets
Delegating tasks
Organizing events
