Tree Care Foreman

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Crew Lead and Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling a wide range of responsibilities, from effectively communicating with customers to operating various equipment and leading a team of employees. This position requires a proactive and safety-conscious individual who is willing to travel and work in various locations within our service area up to 300 miles away.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Perform tree trimming and removal tasks efficiently and safely, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including but not limited to chainsaws, man-lifts, stump grinders, skid loaders, and chippers.
• Manage and train crew members, providing guidance and support to ensure quality work and safety protocols are followed.
• Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence.
• Coordinate with the scheduling team to plan and execute jobs, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to various job sites within our service area, which may require overnight stays for multi-day projects.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in tree trimming and removal, with demonstrated proficiency in handling various Tree Care tasks.
• Valid driver's license required; Class "A" driver's license preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train crew members.
• Comfortable working at heights and around heavy machinery.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overnight stays.
• Must be able to show proven track record of tree work to be considered for this position.
