We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Pediatric Dental front office team in HENDERSON (89052). To be considered, you must be a friendly and outgoing person with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. You must be able to multitask, have a superior record of attendance/reliability and a solid work ethic (references will be checked). No dental experience necessary. 30 hrs/wk.

Properly Quote Insurance Fees
Enter Pre-Authorizations into the Computer (in office and surgery)
Check Status of sent pre-authorizations
Track Assistant Product Sales
Set Daily Exam Procedures Complete
Collect Co-Pays and Deposits If Due
Send Claims and Pre-Authorizations (Mail & Electronically)
Post OTC Payments to Ledgers
Walkout Receipts
Properly Schedule Treatment Patients
Set Continuing Care Status for Each Patient
Recall Postcards & Appointment Reminder Card
Financial Agreements in Consultation with Office Manager
Extend Care Credit as Needed
Check Out and Re-Appoint Patients
Unscheduled Appointment List
Unscheduled Treatment Report
Petty Cash
Order Toys and Keep Toy Bin Stocked
Order Office Supplies (Staples, Costco, Etc.)
Track payroll production for all associate doctors
Surgery:
- Be Able to Explain Surgery Process to Our Patients
- Make color coordinated surgery charts for each doctor.
- Send in medical authorizations for surgery patients.
- Correctly Schedule Surgery Patients according to insurance and anesthesia requirements
- Send Surgery schedule/line up to Flamingo & correct anesthesia one week prior to surgery along with insurance & clearance
information.
- Be in constant contact and communication with parents regarding health and physical and co-pays.
- Set post-operative procedures Complete on Surgery Dates
- When completed, take out radiographs and file them in x-ray drawer, and file chart in completed drawer.
- Call patients to schedule two week Hospital Follow Up visits
- Follow up on unscheduled surgery patients to keep surgery dates full
- Follow up on pending surgery authorizations for both medical & dental
- Schedule dates for Sunrise according to available Doctor’s schedule.
