Job Opening: Staff Pharmacist
Locations: 1179 Vestal Ave, Suite 1, Binghamton NY
Status: One or two regular scheduled day per week, plus two Saturdays per month and vacation coverage

You'll feel a sense of purpose knowing that you're helping people stay healthy and happy. As a Pharmacist you will be responsible for the exceptional care of our customers by providing personal pharmacy services and conducting prescription transactions from dispensing, billing, adjudication and sale of the product.
- Direct pharmacy staff including clinicians, technicians, and drivers as necessary when covering for Pharmacist Manager
- Ensures all RX and OTC items leaving the pharmacy are accurate, complete and payment has successfully been secured including dispensing of medications to Medicare beneficiaries.
- Administer vaccine injections to walk-in patients and at clinic events.
- Provide clinical consultation and recommendations to customers regarding prescribed and over-the-counter medications
- Performs patient counseling and provides piggyback sales and making recommendations when identified.
- Follows all State and Federal Regulations involving pharmacy.

In addition to being organized, thorough, attentive to detail, an effective communicator, customer oriented, and highly accurate the successful candidate for this position must also have the following qualifications:
- New York Pharmacist licensure, active and in good standing is required.
- Additional immunization privilege preferred
- Demonstrated experience in pharmacy operations and management.
- Familiarity with RX30 pharmacy computer system a plus
