Treatment Coordinator

Overview: RiverOne Health & Wellness is a leading healthcare provider offering a comprehensive range of services including chiropractic, acupuncture, and Medspa treatments. We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The Treatment Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their treatment journey while also providing assistance to other departments and training team members as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Consultation: Conduct initial consultations with patients to understand their health concerns, goals, and treatment preferences.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and preferences.
• Education: Educate patients on available treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Scheduling: Coordinate treatment appointments and schedules for patients, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely delivery of services.
• Financial Counseling: Provide transparent information on treatment costs, insurance coverage, payment options, and financial assistance programs to help patients make informed financial decisions. Utilize negotiation skills to explore cost-effective options and advocate for patient needs.
• Patient Support: Serve as a point of contact for patients throughout their treatment journey, addressing any questions, concerns, or challenges they may encounter.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Assist other departments, including patient care, when needed, especially in cases of coworker absence, to ensure smooth operations and continuity of care.
• Team Training: Provide training to team members regarding patient coordination, scheduling, and other relevant processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with patients.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Understanding of scheduling and financial systems.
• Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of chiropractic, acupuncture, or Medspa treatments (Preferred).
• Proficient in insurance knowledge, including understanding insurance plans, claims processing, and reimbursement procedures.
• Familiarity with referral systems and experience coordinating referrals for patients.
• Ability to provide cross-departmental support and train team members as needed.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 – 36 per week
