Purpose of Job
This position is a key finance position that will report directly to the Executive Director of Finance and assist with all treasury functions.
Treasury management is a key organizational function whose stakeholders include the board of directors, senior management, regulators, and credit rating agencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with corporate treasury functions including cash management, investment management, bank/vendor relations, capital management, debt management, and debt compliance.
- Ensure Ridgeview proactively evaluates strategies to improve funding and investment returns inpartnership with external asset managers.
- Assist finance leadership and external investment managers with planning, developing, implementing, and managing corporate investments in a manner consistent with the company's objectives and policies by setting forth an investment structure that is expected to produce a sufficient level of overall diversification, total investment return over the long-term and risk management.
- Be knowledgeable of all Ridgeview investment policies and guidelines and their applicability to relevant entities, portfolios, and outside advisors.
- Monitor compliance with investment policies.
- Establish and maintain investment reporting for all reporting needs.
- Understand the cash needs of the Ridgeview entities and assist with identifying investment strategies to best meet the defined objectives.
- Research and document regulatory and investment policy limits with respect to investment categories and implement monitoring and control measures to ensure cash investments are within required limits.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all cash receipts as well as accurate payment of all corporate obligations in an environment of strong internal controls.
- Provide effective oversight of the cash processes and establish effective protocols for the financial security of banking information; ensure the timely and accurate financial reporting of cash received at Ridgeview and its subsidiaries.
- Optimize cash management through the administration of bank balances, short-term investments, and borrowings in accordance with corporate objectives and policies.
- Ensure that the company has an effective process to manage its day-to-day liquidity position. This includes maintaining daily, monthly, annual, and long-term cash forecasts.
- Develop annual and regular cash and investment income forecasts to adequately meet the organization's liquidity needs.
- Assist finance leadership in planning long-term and short-term strategic financial goals.
- Be a subject matter expert with respect to investment management, cash management, and capital management.
- Assist with implementing and monitoring effective safeguards to protect all Ridgeview's financial assets.
- Document processes and establish control procedures for all internal and external reporting related to investing and compliance.
- Create, participate in, and assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly investment reports as required.
- Provide research and decision support related to special projects as needed.
- Be a part of a high-performing cross-functional finance team.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in banking or corporate treasury
- Solid understanding of the operational framework needed across several functions.
- Proven solid analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and problem-solving skills.
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented and time sensitive environment that blends the structure of monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines with the dynamics of a changing financial market and business conditions.
- Demonstrated basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point and Word)
