Travel Restaurant General Manager

Michelin Starred Celebrity Chef, Michael Mina looking for an experienced General Manager for his Growing Restaurant Empire!

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting with management coverage at all restaurants,
where there is a shortage of management or management transition. Also, coordinates,
supervises, trains, and assists in all operational areas during new restaurant openings and at existing Mina Group restaurants.

This position requires candidates to reside in a local market where currently operating Mina Group restaurants exist.

A detail-oriented Hospitality leader who will be a hands-on mentor in the dining room with the ability to adapt quickly to changes and create an amazing experience for both our guests and our staff. You will lead all front of house operations, providing insight and guidance to every member of the team, working closely with the assistant General Manager and corporate operations teams to further the success of the restaurant. You have exceptional financial acumen, expertise in service, an impeccable eye for detail, a high level of professionalism, and can execute the standards of a 2-star Michelin establishment. You have a proven track record of driving revenue, increasing team member engagement and retention, and developing and implementing systems.

• Desire to teach and mentor both your staff and interns
• Basic Qualifications
• 5-7 years’ experience in a fine dining high volume restaurant, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
• Hospitality degree preferred
• Knowledge of safety and hygiene protocols
• Working knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
• Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
• Have the stamina to work in excess of 40 hours per week

Travel:
There will be extensive travel required to perform the essential job functions. Travel
requirements will be to the discretion of Mina Group. This includes travel to certain
restaurants for extended periods of time, to assist with manager coverage during transitions
as well as during restaurant openings.

Timeframe and Initiative: The Restaurant Excellence Team (REX) provides leadership candidates the opportunity to be fully trained in MINA Group standard operating procedures, systems, and concepts through assignments at multiple locations with the goal of taking a leadership position at a MINA Group restaurant in a full-time capacity. While individual development and management vacancies may affect timing, our expectation is that REX members will assume a full-time position at any one of our outlets within 12-18 months from their hire date.
