General Manager-Restaurant

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and open our new concept in Margate City NJ. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in restaurant management, with expertise in hiring, training, and successful restaurant openings. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
• Provide strong and effective leadership to the restaurant team.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing and motivated staff.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Set clear expectations and goals for team members.
• Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and excellence.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures for all aspects of the restaurant.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering, and supply chain logistics.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Guest Experience:
• Uphold the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction.
• Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Training and Development:
• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff.
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to foster professional growth.
• Continuously assess and enhance training materials and programs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in the restaurant industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including hiring, training, and opening procedures.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
