Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Fayetteville, NC. As a Telemetry RN, you will provide specialized care to patients who require continuous monitoring and treatment for various cardiovascular conditions and emergencies. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions, administering medications, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform initial patient assessments and develop individual care plans based on patients' needs and medical history.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other physiological parameters to detect any changes or abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality and comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including assessments, interventions, and observations.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate and appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in cardiovascular nursing practices and technologies.

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred, but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Telemetry RN.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and prioritize patient care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
