Job Description:
Are you an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) seeking an exciting opportunity to explore Virginia while making a difference in the lives of cancer patients? We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Travel Oncology RNs to join our team on a temporary assignment basis across Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide passionate and prehensive care to oncology patients in various healthcare settings across Virginia.
- Administer chemotherapy, medications, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient condition, assess response to treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, symptom management, and supportive care services.
- Ensure pliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in oncology nursing.
- BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
