Quant Developer, Equities, Futures, FX
Global premier investment firm and leader of computer-driven trading strategies has immediate need for a Quantitative Developer to join their growing team in a full-time, hybrid role based in Manhattan. The individual in this role will work across asset classes, including equities, futures, and foreign exchange in a hybrid role of quantitative research analyst and software developer. They will contribute to a highly successful team of quantitative analysts and developers building systematic trading strategies in a production environment. The candidate should have a passion for technology to support research and trading. They will gain full-stack exposure and work with multiple aspects of quantitative research/trading and collaborate with researchers to innovate research tools to expand trading capabilities. Excellent, hands-on development skills with Python and either C++ or Java is required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, support, and enhance cross-asset class production trading systems.
- Work in a hands-on, quantitative development role with Python3.
- Build technologies that support research and trading in a cross asset class environment including Equities, Futures and FX.
- Contribute to research supporting new markets and asset classes.
Requirements:
- MS and/or PhD degree in math, physics, computer science, engineering, or similar.
- Professional experience working in a cross-asset class environment including Equities, Futures and FX.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Quant Developer or Quantitative Research role requiring hands on development skills with a financial services or fintech industry leader.
- Strong combination of quantitative and programming skills.
- Proficiency in Python 3 and either C++ or Java.
- Familiarity with the Linux environment
- Collaborative, team player able to work as an individual contributor and member of a high performing team.
- Ability to work onsite in a hybrid, full time environment.
Base salary: $200-$300K annually.
