Travel Internal Auditor

Kinseth Hotel Corporation is seeking candidates for Travel Internal Auditor to work in our properties throughout the Midwest. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record in hotel bookkeeping and/or front desk and/or hotel GM experience.

Position Summary:

Travels to assigned properties and trains, reviews and audits hotels on internal Kinseth controls such as Accounting, Human Resources and Purchasing.

Salary:

• $65,000 - 85,000 yearly

Essential Functions:

• Develop Audit Plan and evaluate controls
• Audit hotels across all brands to ensure compliance to audit plan
• Draft Audit report for review by General Manager, Director of Operations and appropriate Kinseth Corporate Office Personnel
• Work with hotels and management to develop and follow Action Plans based on audit findings
• Train hotels on problem areas
• Work with Corporate team to determine focus areas
• Identify potential compliance issues
• Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization
• Travel 85% of the time
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• MUST have an insurable driving record
• Knowledge of hotel PMS/POS systems
• Minimum 5 years of Hotel Operations
• Basic understanding of Hotel Accounting
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred
