Kinseth Hotel Corporation is seeking candidates for Travel Internal Auditor to work in our properties throughout the Midwest. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record in hotel bookkeeping and/or front desk and/or hotel GM experience.
Position Summary:
Travels to assigned properties and trains, reviews and audits hotels on internal Kinseth controls such as Accounting, Human Resources and Purchasing.
Salary:
- $65,000 - 85,000 yearly
Essential Functions:
- Develop Audit Plan and evaluate controls
- Audit hotels across all brands to ensure compliance to audit plan
- Draft Audit report for review by General Manager, Director of Operations and appropriate Kinseth Corporate Office Personnel
- Work with hotels and management to develop and follow Action Plans based on audit findings
- Train hotels on problem areas
- Work with Corporate team to determine focus areas
- Identify potential compliance issues
- Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization
- Travel 85% of the time
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- MUST have an insurable driving record
- Knowledge of hotel PMS/POS systems
- Minimum 5 years of Hotel Operations
- Basic understanding of Hotel Accounting
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
