Travel Agent

We are looking for a sharp, motivated, high-energy SALES AGENT/TRAVEL AGENT to join the team of a rapidly growing Luxury Travel Agency that specializes in Discounted Business and First Class International Travel. This is an in-office position, only East Bay applicants please.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Communicate with clients to determine their travel needs
- Compare available flights to identify the best option for each client’s needs.
- Work with vendors to book flights, hotels, cars, etc.
- Communicate with airlines, hotels, vendors on client’s behalf
- Prepare travel itineraries and invoices
- Prequalify new clients
- Update Asana with team tasks
- Follow up with leads

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- Strong sales background
- On time, with reliable transportation
- Strong sense of urgency
- Ability to shine in interpersonal interactions
- Experience booking travel
- Passion for travel and basic knowledge of the travel industry
- A near-obsession with details
- Accustomed to working with confidential information
- Highly motivated self starter
- Excellent communication skills (including phone and email)
- Positive personality and a sense of humor
- Quick learner with the ability to balance multiple tasks
- Dedication to providing outstanding customer service and remaining professional in any situation
- Comfortable with both a team environment and self-direction

Nice to Have:
- Experience in professional travel planning
- Knowledge of international destinations
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Experiencing using GDS
