Title: Transportation Service Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: One Owens Corning Parkway, Toledo, Ohio, 43659

Duration: 24+ Months (Possible Extension)

Hybrid - Monday & Friday Work from home Tus, Wes & Thu work from office.

Description:

• This role is accountable for performing daily outbound transportation tasks and carrier-related communications for multiple Owens Corning manufacturing facilities, creating solutions that are in the best interest of the customer and Owens Corning.
• The Transportation Service Specialist will assign daily freight to the Owens Corning carrier base to meet delivery dates of customer orders in a cost-effective manner.
• They will also collaborate with Customers, Carriers, Manufacturing Facilities, Customer Service Specialists, Logistics Analyst, Material Planners and other OC organizations as necessary to identify and troubleshoot issues to ultimately deliver our product on time and damage-free.

Skills Required:

• Experienced with Outlook and Excel. Someone with previous logistics experience would be great.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
