One of CRG's clients within the logistics/supply chain industry is seeking a motivated, detail oriented, and outgoing professional to join their team as a Transportation Administrator supporting their inside sales team! This role offers the opportunity to get hands-on experience in the administrative space of a large corporation. New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply!
Opportunity Type: Contract-to-hire
Location: North Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Compensation: $22-$23 / hour
Summary:
- Reporting GPS units, managing inventory, and tracking trailers
- Communicate tracking statuses with facility managers and maintenance managers internally.
- Email and call external vendors for updates on equipment tracking and potential issues that arise.
- Update the company database to reflect correct notes, tracking information, inventory, etc.
- Use Microsoft Excel and internal systems to report data to internal teams.
- Accurately transfer data between various proprietary systems as needed.
- 1-2 years of general business, data entry, or administrative experience
- Microsoft Excel Skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey information across the organization.
- Previous Transportation, Supply Chain or Maintenance experience preferred.
