SUMMARY: The Training Specialist will lead and/or assist with various training programs for office and manufacturing associates, including (but not limited to) enterprise resource planning (ERP) software training. The Training Specialist will provide end-user support and document standard operating processes and procedures pertaining to the ERP system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Add and maintain associate records in ERP.
- Review associate ERP transactions for training opportunities.
- Develop and maintain sustainable processes that help to ensure transactions are accurate, complete, and timely.
- Document and understand ERP/MRP systems, hardware, and reporting conventions.
- Create SOP documents and/or quick-hit tools for manufacturing associates to assist with learning ERP transactions.
- Conduct train the trainer courses and associate training classes.
- Create and maintain both end-user and administrative documentation.
- Assist in maintaining security/ privileges for the ERP system by assigning user security codes, restrictions and accessbillity of information to authorized users.
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership and the ERP team to plan and create ERP training to meet the needs of the business.
- Assist in ERP implementation and data conversion projects.
- Continue to learn and obtain knowledge of EPICOR through training and continuous education courses.
- Provide help desk support for ERP users.
- Assist with implementing other corporate learning & development initiatives as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Training and Development or Education preferred. 3 years of Training or Development or instruction (teaching) experience is preferred. Previous experience with EPICOR desired. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
