As theTraining Specialist, you will work with employees of all levels in the organization, with a special focus on our Leadership Development Roadmap. You will partner with the T&D team to create learning experiences that empower Mustang's employees and contributes to achieving the organization's strategic goals. This position will provide you with hands-on experience in all aspects of corporate training,
Training Specialist Responsibilities:

• Needs analysis
• Content creation - virtual (such as eLearning, microlearning, VILT, etc.) F2F, reference and supporting materials (job aids, evaluation tools, branching assessments, etc.)
  • Topics include, but not limited to: processes, systems, policies, soft/core skills, leadership, sales, customer service
• Monitor training effectiveness, relevance and content quality of new and existing training programs, using results to effect change as needed
• Facilitation
• Employee coaching
• Maintaining training facilities, records, and resources
• Coordinate and schedule training classes
• LMS management

Training Specialist Position Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in one of the following, or related field: Mass Communications (Advertising, Journalism, Communication Studies, Public Relations), Education, Service Management or Business/HR/Industrial-Organizational Psychology/Marketing
• Minimum 1 year experience in training, public speaking, storytelling, and/or facilitating meetings
• Strong computer skills, and general systems savviness, including experience with:
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • eLearning tools (Adobe Captivate preferred)
  • Experience with video sharing tools
• Highly resourceful and creative
• Enjoy working as part of a team, and independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Learning Management System experience preferred
• Interest/Experience in Digital Graphics/Creative Media/Media Strategies, Art a plus
• Sales and/or Machinery Industry training experience also a plus
