This position will be responsible for Securing resources for scheduled New Employee Orientation (NEO) and facilitate the schedule within the factory; Lead administration of iLearn and POKA transcripts, documentation and annual training compliance; Act as backup lead for ET Pillar; Lead On-the-Job (OJT) technical training writer development; Support and partner with project teams for the develop, documentation and data management of work instructions, standards and training for new equipment, external vendor training, and systems; Manage training center resources: calendars, rooms, equipment, workstations, etc.; Partner with Education & Learning Manager on various learning projects and initiatives driving skill and knowledge development to deliver business results as a learning organization; Fosters a safe work environment and supports operational goals and mission.
Primary Responsibilities
- Works with operators, facilitators and Managers in organizing programs of practical and technical instruction, including demonstrations of skills required in trade, and lectures on theory, techniques, and terminology.
- Planning, development, implementation and up-to-date initiatives to help ensure operations procedural consistency; training documentation, guidelines, checklists, and job aids. Develop, manage and maintain training progression plans.
- Develops and provides training curriculum from information found in resources such as manufacturers modules, share point, etc. Presents based upon need.
- Coordinate scheduling and administration of training topics. This includes topics such as company required training, internal and external training initiatives, quarterly Leadership Team Development, technical training for operations, etc.
- Develops and maintains training qualifications and progression plans for factory. Tests and evaluates achievement of those being trained through demonstration of technical knowledge and skills. Reports on progress.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in training, project management or related experience. Manufacturing knowledge & technical training experience preferred.
The approximate pay range for this position is $55,000 - $87,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
