Responsibilities: Summary: Responsible for training new and current employees on proper packing techniques, safety, and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Trains new hires and current employees on PACTIV safety procedures and policies.
- Trains new hires and current employees on PACTIV GMP and quality procedures.
- Trains new hires and current employees on proper packing techniques.
- Monitor trainees’ continuous development on the job and provide them with a path for success.
- Evaluate the ability of new hires and make recommendations to the supervisor.
- When necessary, assists HR department with interviewing candidates for employment.
- Checks finished product for quality issues, as it comes off the conveyor.
- Packs plastic containers and lids of various sizes into boxes.
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean.
- Erects and labels boxes as needed.
- Grinds poor quality product.
- Support all lean activities within the facility.
- Re-packs product as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
