Position Available: Temporary Training Coordinator
Location: Tinton Falls, NJ
The New Jersey Prevention Network is a public health agency working to prevent substance abuse, addiction, and other chronic diseases by building capacity among professionals, fostering positive collaboration among providers, and strengthening the field of prevention through the use of evidence-based practices and strategies.
Addiction Training Workforce Development (ATWD) Training Coordinator provides customer service and technical assistance to New Jersey professionals and counselor interns attending virtual courses for initial and renewal certification credit.

Responsibilities include:
- Provides support to course trainers and participants to ensure a safe and stimulating virtual educational environment.
- Assist with live online training setup and administration.
- Provide customer service for students regarding courses and certification processes.
- Oversee online training delivery and participation to ensure certification compliance.
- Monitor student participation and troubleshoot issues during live virtual courses.
- Assist with database management.
- Developing course materials and promotional assets needed.
- Work with team members on special initiative projects to support clinical workforce development initiatives.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (including Saturdays).
- Other duties as assigned.
Academic Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree /or minimum five years of related experience
Required Experience:
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and SharePoint
- Proficiency with Zoom and web-based training platforms.
- Can work independently or as part of a team.
Required Skills:
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent technical, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Familiarity with the New Jersey credentialing process for Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors.
- Familiarity with the New Jersey addiction treatment system
- Familiarity with SQL database
- Familiarity with Canva
