Training Coordinator/Lead Coordinator Learning
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position of Training Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development and support of the training system and organizational development, developing training (both OTJ and soft skills), developing coursework assessments, presenting and training facilitation. Will also plan and develop curriculum, administrate and document training and work with cross functional teams to develop and coordinate applications for training.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop training materials/programs
2. Develop assessment materials
3. Presentation or Facilitation of training
4. Curriculum planning
5. Schedule training and manage training documentation process
6. Administration and documentation of training
7. Participate in and create cross-functional applications for training
8. Help administrate and facilitate the use of TWI (Training Within Industry) throughout plant operations.
9. Flexibility to work off-shifts on occasion to present or facilitate training as needed.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPLEXITY and SCOPE
  • Ability to identify the best training resources for the specific need. This would entail reviewing internal training as well as sourcing external training resources. Decisions would need to be made regarding its effectiveness, cost, and possible blended options.
  • Ensures the organization's training and development activities are properly classified and coded to the correct accounts.
  • Ensures that sufficient internal controls and procedures are in place and being followed to maintain standard training methods and performing work to standard methods.
  • Must be able to help identify training needs and determine the effectiveness of the provided training.
  • Provides guidance to Management on a recommended training and development plan to follow to meet overall plant training objectives.
  • Must manage and extract information from databases such as Alchemy, Campbell’s Compliance Training and eLearning systems and MS Access.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Instructional Design or related field preferred or equivalent experience may be considered.
1-2 Years of experience working in a manufacturing environment or as a manufacturing trainer
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self Starter and results oriented.
  • Logical, organized, flexible, and multi-tasked oriented.
  • Moderate physical effort required.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Understanding of adult learning principals, ADDIE and other training design theories.
  • LMS (learning management systems) experience is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency is required in the following: Windows-based software applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point). Articulate Storyline preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT The working environment includes both office and plant floor settings. Exposure to industrial noise, forklift traffic, moving mechanical parts, and temperature extremes occur in operating areas of the plant.

Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$43,380.00 - $70,110.00
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
