We're looking for a talented Training Administrator to support our industry leading products here at Tosoh Quartz, Inc.


As the Training Administrator, you will administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including processing course completions, creating new content utilizing conventions and standards, and managing daily reports. You will also work with internal staff to select or develop teaching aids and conduct testing to measure progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training.


What you’ll do at Tosoh Quartz.

  • Administer LMS system and build out new functionality. Build and control LMS content structure and learner data in LMS.
    • Serve as the primary contact for the LMS.
    • Provide LMS “customer service” to employees.
    • Validate the LMS setup is reflective of the intent. Is the auto enrollment working? Are employees assigned to the correct training and quals for their job functions and company requirements?
    • Ensure all training is documented, tracked and training records are maintained for all employees.
    • Manage and run reports daily and for audits.
  • Review and update existing training materials in various formats including Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and videos.
  • Research, collect, and analyze program evaluation data; prepare reports and statistical information on program participation, feedback, and results.
  • Plan, develop, and implement various special projects as assigned; plans, coordinates, and facilitate events, programs, and/or activities.


Who you are.

Minimum requirements:

  • College degree in general business, training, HR or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 1+ years of experience managing a database.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI, etc.) and demonstrated experience managing an Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interface with suppliers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Quality and Management personnel.
  • Perform training needs assessment and utilize instruction systems design to develop training.

  • Strong documentation and graphical / video production skills are a plus
