- The Puget Sound Military Appointing Center is a centralized services center that serves as the primary point of contact for PSMHS beneficiaries for PAS, RMS, and CLRS as they seek healthcare services, and is therefore a critically important resource in our healthcare delivery system.
- Appointing services span a range of functions to include, but not limited to,; verifying beneficiary eligibility via the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) system, updating patient demographic information, and scheduling beneficiary requests for MTF primary or specialty care appointments, as well as completing requests for cancellations and appointment rescheduling.
- RMS processing supports the timely scheduling of specialty care referrals ordered by MTF HCPs. RMS services span a range of functions to include, but not limited to: identifications of specialty referrals to be deferred to the network, ensuring processing in accordance with DHA timeliness, and tracking status of network referrals.
- CLRS are an essential component of the quality care continuum. CLR services span a range of functions to include, but not limited to: monitoring care delivered in the MCSC network and ensuring the return of clinical care documentation to the MTF in accordance with DHA timeliness standards.
Duties:
- Reports directly to the Training Supervisor.
- Assist in the creation and review of instructional materials to align with current business practices across all departments
- Facilitate training classes as needed
- Track annual compliance training for all agents and work with leadership to ensure compliance with all deadlines.
- Work with IT department and DHA on creation of new hire profiles and appropriate account
- Facilitates side-by-side mentoring for new hires
- Assist in the creation of training schedules, establish benchmarks, track progress and identify training
- Assist in shipping of newhire equipment
- Provide floor support when needed
- Keep abreast of new policies, procedures, job aids, and government
- Responsible for periodic training, and maintenance of training
- Provide solutions to assist with departmental implementation training plans; identifies areas requiring management and improvement.
Trainer Lead - Government Healthcare Call Center Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Operational computer skills with general working knowledge of word processing and Microsoft applications (including Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- One year of experience in Military Patient Appointing Center with specialized experience in PAS/RMS/CLR departments is preferred.
- One year of training and instructional experience, which will be in the management of professional and administrative personnel in a medical service setting.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with senior personnel, government employees, and other contractors.
- Capable of establishing mission-oriented teams and resolving personnel issues in a timely fashion.
- Exceptional communication skills, including proper grammar and punctuation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management.
