SalaryResponsibilities:
- General tractor work possibly including Triplaning, Discing, Chiseling, Border dumping. Planting experience preferred.
- Grader and Spra-Coupe(or other spray vehicle) experience a plus.
- In application please comment all previous tractor work experience
- General shop and routine preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks, machinery, irrigation ditches, and tractors.
- Moving materials to different locations (sprinkler pipe, diesel, seed)
- Keep accurate notes of work (ex. Amount of seed planted or gallons of material applied).
- Possible opportunities to irrigate, though not main job.
Requirements:
- Experience operating heavy machinery; tractors, graders, water truck, backhoe, forklift etc.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Mechanical experience preferred but not required
- Acceptable driving record required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- English fluent preferred but not required
Schedule:
- Willing and able to work 6 days a week during peak seasons.
- Start time: 6:00am-3:00pm – longer hours when necessary
