Summary
The Tractor Trailer Driver is responsible for driving established routes between company warehouses and production facilities, picking up from vendors as needed, and utilizing a 130 BBL vacuum trailer to support our brewing and packaging operations.
We are hiring for 3 open positions at the following shift times:
- Monday - Friday; 4:00am - 12:30pm PT
- Tuesday - Saturday; 4:00am - 12:30pm PT
- Sunday - Thursday; 2:00pm - 10:30pm PT
* All new hires will train Monday - Friday for the first 2-3 weeks
*Potential for overtime depending on business needs
Responsibilities

• Delivering trailers of all Sapporo and Stone Brewing products between buildings several times a day.
• Accurately verifying, arranging, and securing loads for designated deliveries at the start of each day and after each delivery.
• Maintaining accurate digital records and logs.
• Coupling and uncoupling (drop and hook) multiple trailers each day, and safely dock 48-53 ft. trailers in tight spaces if necessary.
• Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure trucks/trailers are kept clean and well maintained by maintenance instructions.
• Dropping off and picking up trucks/trailers from maintenance service location.
• Safely operating a vacuum trailer, as needed (if tasked as the operator).
• Following all road regulations and driving safely and courteously as representatives of Sapporo and Stone Brewing.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, and DOT compliance regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements
3+ years of previous and relevant experience driving a Tractor Trailer sized truck.
Active Class A license issued by the state of CA with a clean MVR.
Tanker endorsement highly preferred.
Flexibility to work additional hours and days that deviate from regular work schedules.
Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and safety consciousness.
Excellent written and oral communication and comprehension skills.
Basic mathematical skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems, and work independently on assigned tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
