1. Job Overview
Responsible for servicing all removable components of presses (cylinders, gears, anilox, heads, pans, etc.). Assist mounting with cleaning, stripping and prepping plates. Other duties as assigned.

Job title: Pre-Press Tooling Assistant

Reports to (Title): Manufacturing Manager
1. Job Overview
Responsible for servicing all removable components of presses (cylinders, gears, anilox, heads, pans, etc.). Assist mounting with cleaning, stripping and prepping plates. Other duties as assigned.
2. Job Dimensions
- Assist with plate prepping and cylinder sleeving
- Housekeeping in pre-press and ink waste areas
- Accurately measuring and recording anilox volumes after cleaning
3. Principal Accountabilities
- Preparing anilox rollers for cleaning; loading anilox into the cleaning unit; operating the cleaning equipment; removal of anilox rollers and filling out inspection report
- Staging press components. Assembling carts with the required parts for upcoming jobs on each of the presses
- Cleaning the parts in the tank for the presses. Cleaning ink kits and various parts form the plant
4. Major challenges & complexities
- Punctuality and adherence to the company attendance policy are essential
- Reassembly of the equipment for the press department. Staging of equipment on racks press side for upcoming jobs.
- Breakdown press equipment for wash tank. Disassemble components from the press to be put into the wash up tank for cleaning

6.1 Formal Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge and Experience
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Education and Certifications
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
