YOUR DAY AS A TOOL AND DIE MAKER
As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include constructing and repairing intricate tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges, as well as setting up and operating various equipment such as turning, grinding, milling, and drilling machines. You may also lead tooling projects, collaborate with different departments, and ensure the precision and quality of all work completed. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and safe work environment, assist in training new team members, and perform other duties as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A TOOL AND DIE MAKER
To be considered for Tool and Die Maker, you will need to have a high school diploma or GED/HSED and hold journey-level status or possess equivalent experience in the field. Strong math skills, including proficiency in calculations and geometry, are essential for this role, as is the ability to read and interpret blueprints and precision gauges accurately. Candidates should have their own toolmaker tools or be willing to acquire them. Good interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team setting are crucial.
