Job Summary

We are seeking a conscientious and detail-oriented Tool & Die Maker who is ready to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Working at a steady, even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work to meet exacting customer standards is very important to this role.

A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to follow all procedures to facilitate the production of high-quality tooling is required to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Perform machining operations, watch for problems in the production process, and check the accuracy of the finished parts against drawings using calibrated measuring tools.

· Maintain and repair existing metal stamping tooling.

· Build new stamping tooling.

· Assist of troubleshooting stamping die issues in production.

· Processes shall include: set-up machines, able to utilize specialized equipment, understanding the basics of drawing interpretation.

· The ability to read and understand customer part drawings and tolerancing schemes.

· Partner with the leadership team to determine cost savings opportunities.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

· 5+ years of Tool and Die making experience.

· Preferred: CNC Machining experience related to metal stamping die building, Wire EDM programming and operation.

· Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally, in person.

· Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.

About the Position:

• Salary: Commensurate with experience
• Monday-Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Pay: $30 - $33 per hour depending on experience.

Education:

• Technical School Degree (Preferred) But not required

Experience:

• Manufacturing environment: 2 years (Required)

• Eligible for quarterly bonus subject to company policies

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41 per week
