Days: Monday-Friday

Time: 8:30-5:30

Pay: $25-30/hr, but negotiable for the right candidate

Description:

Loving, close knit family of 3 is looking for a loving and experienced nanny to join their family team!

Mom and Dad are older parents who have an adorable and energetic 18 month old baby girl and fur baby. They are seeking a nanny (who they lovingly refer to as a toddler specialist) who can join their family team for years to come! This family is all about love and joy, and hopes to find a nanny who will embrace that mentality and has a positive outlook on life as well. They do enjoy traveling (Dad is from Spain) and hope that their Nanny would want to accompany them on trips over the summer as well!

Their ideal Nanny is an older, career nanny who has at least 10 years of experience working with toddlers and pre-schoolers. They would prefer a nanny with a college degree, however, years of nanny experience is more valuable. Their family is multi-lingual and speaks English, Spanish, and Catalan and would love to find a nanny who also shares in one of those languages (though not required). They love being together as a family and are hoping to find a nanny who can fit into their family seamlessly, while at the same time, maintaining professional boundaries.

Education is important to them and encourage their Nanny to want to help their daughter in learning through play, experiences, and daily activities through life. They would love a nanny who has a degree, background or passion for early childhood education, although not required.

The family is looking for a Nanny who would like to work with their family for years to come and can be an integral part of their family team. Nanny must have excellent communication skills, a passion for working with toddlers, a kind and warm personality, and be willing to work with the parents for the overall betterment of the child. Their ideal Nanny should be willing to share prior experience and techniques that worked for other toddlers as child grows. The family values the Nanny experience and will look to their Nanny to help them with what to expect as the child grows. Their ideal Nanny will also be someone who isn’t afraid to make sure that the home remains neat and tidy throughout the day. They are a very tidy family, and while they understand that toddlers are mini tornados, they would love it if their nanny could help make sure that the home is kept tidy and clean up after themselves.

It is important that their Nanny is proactive, safety cautious, a great communicator, and can take initiative when needed. Someone who is warm, has a great energy and disposition about them, and truly cares about their child and family will be a wonderful candidate for this family.

Working hours will be Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30, but family would appreciate flexibility here and there if needed for extra hours throughout the week.

Duties of this role would include, but are not limited to:

- overall childcare duties for child (that is the most important to them)

-maintaining the overall cleanliness of the common areas of the home

- ensuring the absolute absolute safety and well being of the child

- working collaboratively with parents to ensure that things are running smoothly and child is hitting milestones

- light housekeeping such as children’s laundry, meal prep for children, unloading/loading dishwasher, vacuuming as needed, and maintaining cleanliness within the home

Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to provide their own transportation.

Family is looking for a candidate who can provide longevity.

Family is willing to offer PTO, guaranteed hours, and mileage to the right candidate.

All candidates must:

- be able to provide at least 3 references related to this role

- have a valid and clean drivers license

- be able to pass a comprehensive background check

- be willing to grow with a family and value longevity

- have at least 10 years of childcare experience working with toddlers and pre-schoolers

- have CPR certification or be willing to become certified
