A Better Way TMS & Psychiatry TMS Technician

We are seeking motivated and independent thinkers with excellent customer relations skills for the TMS Technician position (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) Applicants should be interested in the exciting field of mental health and the changes they will make in the lives of our patients. Training will be provided.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to deliver superior customer service to all potential patients. Strong customer service skills and exceptional phone presence are a must.
• Experience working at the front desk.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, strong computer and data entry skills required.
• Excellent written, verbal and follow up skills required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well independently as well as with a team.
• Ability to interact with potential patients, clinic staff, physicians and departments in a professional manner.
• Must respect and adhere to office guidelines and use good judgment regarding patient confidentiality.
• Punctual and reliable.

Experience:

Medical/Dental experience: 1 year (Preferred)

General Duties:

• Administer TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols. Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
• Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment.
• Administer psychiatric rating scales (PHQ9 and GAD7) and counsel patients on completion of scales.
• Completing all Encounters on a daily basis
• Explain and administer procedures to patients

Compensation and Benefits:

$19-22 per hour (Hourly rate based on skill, experience and tenure of your profession.)

Compensation package includes medical and dental, and paid time off for full time employees.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
