The TMS Technician will play an active role in coordinating patient care, participating in the consultation and assessment process, offering psychoeducational information, and working with other healthcare professionals/agencies. We are looking for an individual who will provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments to our patients. TMS treats those suffering with major depression and OCD.

The Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care and treat patients struggling with depression, anxiety and/or OCD with compassion.
• Administer TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols.
• Ensure compliance with research protocols.
• Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact and TMS system setup throughout treatment.
• Record psychiatric rating scales and session notes in NextGen.
• Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety.
• Assist in scheduling patient follow up appointments.
• Perform various tasks related to administrative tasks, patient care, and TMS treatment.

The Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience.
• TMS Certification desired (see below)*.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• EMR and/or NextGen experience desired.
• Bachelor's degree preferably with a major in Life or Psychological Sciences or a related field of study preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work well with a team and independently.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental-health setting.

*While TMS certification is desired, we will offer a one on one training program to those who don't have within the first 90 days of employment.
The pay for this position is $21 to $24 per hour. We offer full benefits (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, holiday pay, 401k, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and more.
