Job description

Are you an outstanding MA or LVN with strong experience in Mental Health and direct patient care? Are you interested in working in a modern office environment with cutting edge technology? We are seeking a Mental Health team member to assist with cutting edge depression treatment, TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation). Technicians are also responsible for all administrative aspects of the treatments, including scheduling, tracking insurance authorizations, administering psychiatric rating scales, and patient charting.

Locations: West Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities:

- Administer treatments according to specific physician protocols. Set up the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.

- Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment.

- Administer psychiatric rating scales and counsel patients on completion of scales.

- Record session notes, track insurance authorizations, and schedule patient visits using EMR and medical scheduling software.

- Track Blood Pressure and Patient reactions

- Communicate with a team of certified TMS psychiatrists who oversee patient treatment at multiple office locations.

- Support the Patient Care Coordinator team as needed.

Qualifications:

- At least two years of experience working in medical / Mental Health is required

- Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression preferred. Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental-health setting required

We will provide all necessary training but having experience with EMR and direct patient care are a necessary foundation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
