Job Description:
The TMO(Transition Management Office) is a group that will be responsible for executing the separation of the clients. This group will be going through the project plans and identifying priority areas to fully stand up as they have 30 months of support from The customer. They are also creating 2 different areas, fixed and variable. These roles are fixed roles, being they will be core group team members for the duration of the project.
We are hiring IT Transition Program Operations, Finance Analyst to help us build our program budgets, manage our monthly reporting to steering committee, and conduct an on-going analysis of our spend.
The Program Operations, Finance Analyst will manage the Program budgeting and long-term financial modeling processes as we rapidly expand our operations. The individual will also undertake ad hoc financial analyses and modeling which will provide a unique view of the finances. We need a leader to take charge of this operation, set up the appropriate systems and processes, and help us take this initiative to the next level.
The position is located in the Glendale Office in Milwaukee.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Establish standard methodologies for the preparation of short, medium and long term forecasts;
• Participate in the operating planning process and related financial planning budget process;
• Prepare and analyze the program operating budgets in cooperation with IT leadership and 3rd party partners;
• Deliver the monthly reporting on program operating budget expenditures;
• Participate in the analysis of the monthly financial results including the interpretation of current month performance as a predictive tool for attainment of quarterly and full year performance expectations;
• Actively participate in the creation and management of financial and operational metrics to provide management with concise information regarding current spend;
• Analyze and audit support of reimbursable stand up cost.
o All stand up items are being coded to a specific account and cost center. On a monthly basis charges must be reviewed to ensure it meets stand up cost definition.
o SOWs, POs and invoices must be collected as support.
• Review IT financials looking for additional stand up items that were potentially miss-coded.
• Support Project managers
o Help review project charges
o Research payment status
• Analyze CIP (Construction in process)
o Research IT project status. Once complete compile supporting documentation to capitalize (project invoices).
