- Reviews title commitments/preliminary reports, relays curative requirements to parties involved and research as necessary and takes appropriate action
- Coordinates closing dates with parties to transaction
- Reviews Closing Instructions and documents from lender and prepares settlement statements accordingly
- Obtains signatures for closing transactions with brief explanation of all documents executed by the Buyer/Borrower and Seller; facilitates the answer of all questions from clients
- Receipts in money, balances the file, creates and signs checks and initiates or approves wire transfers
- Timely submits appropriate documents to the county recorder's office
- Forwards the file to lender or customer for post-closing review in proper audit review order
- Reviews escrow accounting reports to resolve any outstanding checks and open file balances
- This is not a work from home opportunity
- Must have extensive curative experience including matters such as divorce, probate, heirship and involuntary liens
- Must be proficient with title and closing production systems
- Escrow License is required
- Notary Public is required
- Experienced with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry field
- Sound proficiency and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrates the ability to exercise broad conceptual judgment, initiative and ability to deal with complex issues
- Exceptional client and customer service skills
- Strong organizational, listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers
- Ability to professionally communicate both internally and externally with individuals at all levels of an organization

- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
