We are currently seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Title Clerk to join our Dealership. The Title Clerk will be responsible for receiving and transferring the titles for our company.
Title clerk responsibilities and duties:
- EXPERIENCE IN THE AUTO INDUSTRY IS A MUST!
- Verifies that funds (down payment, other fees) have been collected prior to releasing any paperwork
- Coordinate with manager and sales team as per all title related matters.
- Verify the accuracy of all related documentation and information for the application of the title.
- Working to get the paperwork corrected and prepared for the title process.
- Process titles accordingly to relevant state and ensure lienholder is recorded.
- Maintain a complete inventory of incoming and outgoing titles.
- Maintain all documentation relating to vehicle titles (paper & electronic).
- Processes all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.
- Reports to management on the status of any titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles.
- Prepares necessary paperwork for submission to the tag agency.
- Resolve any title issues that may arise.
- Verify payoffs and releasing of title /collateral.
- Perform other clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning

- Perform work in a quality manner and with attention to detail
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
