Responsibilities:
- Perform Tig welding on aluminum and steel materials with thickness ranging from .060 to .570 inches.
- Interpret technical blueprints and utilize them to fabricate accurate parts.
- Engage in free building and fixture building to support production requirements.
- Weld components intended for military vehicles, adhering to stringent quality and durability standards.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets without compromising on weld integrity.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in Tig welding, demonstrating skill and expertise in aluminum and steel welding.
- Ability to stand, bend, and twist comfortably for extended periods, typically up to 10 hours.
- Capable of lifting varying loads, with 80% falling within the range of 7 to 20 lbs, and 20% ranging from 65 to 75 lbs.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and translating specifications into finished products.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate welds.
