We are looking for a motivated and experienced Tier 2 Tech Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, including troubleshooting and resolving computer and network issues. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving computer and network issues.
- Interacting with a wide variety of clients, responding to customer tickets, providing onsite support as required, and documenting the details involved.
- Ensuring timely and appropriate escalation actions for unresolved problems
- Develop and implement cybersecurity solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends.
- Work with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
- Rotating on-call shift.
Qualifications:
- Experience communicating with and delighting customers.
- Troubleshooting skills and ability to problem solve.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, MS Office, and some experience with Google Apps.
- Knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows and MacOS), and hardware (Laptops, Desktops, Peripherals).
- Experience with server operating systems and hardware.
- Understanding of TCP/IP and networking technologies, LAN/WAN network topologies, VPNs, and other networking concepts.
- Some knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMWare and Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity principles and tools (certifications are a bonus).
