As a Mold Mechanic at Fortive, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology and collaborate with a diverse team of 18,000 professionals. Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with verbal instructions and mechanical aptitude to disassemble clean, maintain and repair injection molding tooling.
  • Use of a crane, forklift and power pallet jack to move, open and disassemble/reassemble 3000lbs molds.
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval.
  • Selects solutions from established operating procedures.
  • Ensure flawless operation of molds to meet production targets.
  • Working knowledge and shown experience working with all required tooling shop equipment: surface grinder, lathe, vertical mill, drill press, band saw, etc.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mold maintenance and repair
  • Ability to successfully implement mold adjustments and modifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing world-class products

Pay range pending.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
