Job Description
DMC Facility Services is a fast paced, family owned company, seeking 3rd Shift Carpenter Assistants to join our team and train alongside our industry expert leaders! Candidates must be interested in furthering their career within the field, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to understand and translate customer needs and wants throughout the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the commercial construction team including but not limited to carpentry, floor tile repairs, FRP installation, minor plumbing and electrical, concrete, commercial door and hardware, ceiling systems and general construction duties
- Ability to email and communicate via mobile device i.e. I-Pad Applications
- Ability to travel regionally overnight, with hotel and meals paid by company
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of carpentry/construction
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Safety training OSHA 10 minimum or OSHA 30 validation card
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to scan, fax and email photos
- Ability to work in high situations with a positive attitude
