Are you a Carpentry Apprentice eager to hone your craft and contribute to exciting projects? NJ Dream Builders is seeking a dedicated individual to assist in cutting, fabricating, and installing wooden and other structures according to specifications. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities
As a Carpenter Apprentice with NJ Dream Builders, you will:

Assist in leading a crew under the guidance of experienced carpenters
Take measurements and assist in calculating material requirements
Assist in cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and materials
Learn to construct window frames, doors, staircases, and building frames
Participate in laying out floorings, tiles, and drywalls with precision
Gain experience in carving and assembling cabinets, shelves, and other items
Assist in inspecting and performing repairs or maintenance as needed
Help in building scaffolding and other construction structures

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A willingness to learn and develop skills in carpentry
• Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods
• Ability to use electrical and manual equipment under supervision
• Desire to understand and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines at all times
• Good communication skills in English and basic math proficiency
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle various tasks on job sites
• Motivation, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license and vehicle
• Must own hand tools

Pay: $38,500.00 - $44,000.00 per year
