The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport is looking for a House Manager. Seeking a responsible and reliable individual who is a team-player and is able to work evenings and weekends.
The House Manager is responsible for assisting in managing the front-of-house operations of the theater including valet, hosts, bartenders and ushers.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Ensuring excellent customer service from the staff
- Maintaining theater & public areas to ensure a clean environment for all
- Responsible for opening and closing of Theater for daily operations
- Able to work independently and manage staff
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Must feel comfortable handling any situations that arise in the moment.
- Must have an appreciation for theater.
- Will be required to schedule and manage a team of employees
This is a full-time position. Prior hospitality management experience as well as evening & weekend availability is required. Theater Front of House or Operations experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
