Salary Range: $60,000.00-70,000.00
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Under the direction of the Program Director, the SupervisingCase Manageris responsible for the delivery of all clinical and case management services in an OASAS 820 certified reintegration program. The Supervising Case Managerensures the quality of treatment services, the fidelity of service delivery, timely documentation of all group and individual counseling services and support services delivered by the facility’s case management staff. The Supervising Case Managerwill provide direct supervisions for all case management staff and is responsible for oversight of job performance of the cas management staff. The Supervising Case Manager is responsible for maintaining OASAS regulatory compliance and assuring that programs operate in accordance with Odyssey House organizational standards.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs and implements clinical care and case management services for the reintegration program.
- Conducts regular and direct observations of all treatment activities.
- Implement and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all referent communications, HRA STARS reporting, and HRA finger imaging verification.
- Provide crisis intervention services as necessary and required.
- Conduct utilization review, incident management and review and quality assurance reviews.
- Assure that staff maintains accurate and confidential clinical records that comply with external monitoring agency standards and internal policy and procedures.
- Prepare all proposals and reports as needed.
- Assume responsibility for program operations in the absence of the Program Director.
- Assure all staff members are adequately trained.
- Provide and implements formal orientation plan to newly hired direct subordinate staff.
- Conduct regular clinical and administrative meetings with staff.
- Provide direct supervision for designated staff as per Odyssey House policies. Prepare and review written annual evaluations on staff under their supervision.
- Provide ongoing training for case management staff and participate in Odyssey House in-service trainings.
- Lead quality improvement activities in collaboration with Program Director.
- Represent Odyssey House at community and public forums.
- Other relevant duties as assigned by Program Director.
REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor Level Clinical Degree required and two (2) years’ experience in an administrative and/or clinical supervisory role required.
- Four (4) year of experience working in a human service setting preferred.
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g. LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, CRC, Ph.D., MSN, CASAC etc.) required.
- Proficiency with computer operation (Microsoft Word, Excel, Electronic Health Record and Outlook programs)
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- This position will require availability as needed including on call responsibilities.
