Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a dedicated care staff, ensuring a supportive and collaborative work environment.
• Uphold a shared and collaborative culture across all TSLC divisions.
• Maintain departmental procedures that promote operational efficiency in the Nursing Department.
• Supervise care staff, address concerns through courageous conversation, and report any performance issues to the supervisor.
• Conduct resident assessments, initiate services, and make appropriate referrals for other disciplines.
• Implement preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative procedures to enhance resident well-being.
• Assist in leading scheduling, pay roll and other administrative duties
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care management in accordance with facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate of an approved RN/LPN program.
• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state.
• CPR Certification.
• Superior customer service skills, professionalism, and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

• Adaptability to frequently changing work parameters.
• Physical agility and ability to maneuver while in place.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers.
• Ability to handle the mental and emotional stress of the position.
