Project/Department Summary:
The Task Force for Global Health’s Communications and Development department engages constituents and partners by telling the story of The Task Force and our programs, raising awareness about global health issues, and cultivating support for The Task Force’s work. This is an exciting year to be involved with the Task Force as we celebrate our 40th anniversary.
Internship Summary:
The intern will work with The Task Force for Global Health (TFGH) Communications and Development team to help execute our 40th Anniversary Campaign Strategy, particularly the many exciting new design, graphical elements and publicity elements.
- Assist in developing branded PPT/Googleslides templates, business cards, Zoom backgrounds, creating a suite of branded toolkit products for all Task Force programs
- Develop event assets, such as the Task Force’s 40th Anniversary celebration, including such items as invitation design, displays and digital background screens for speakers.
- Curate artwork - help with selection of new artwork and content for the recently remodeled building and help ensure correct installations.
- Help team to develop compelling stories for a range of audiences
- Generate selected social media posts for all platforms
- Potential involvement in video production and lobby exhibit installation projects
- Availability to be on site at TFGH headquarters at least one time per week.

Hours:
upto 15 hrs/week
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Canva; event planning and execution experience; strong writing, editing and proofreading skills; Microsoft Office and Google Suite; ability to work under deadlines; ability to accept direction. Video and film editing production or public exhibits experience a plus; ideal candidates will have both graphic art/design and communications skills and will possess a strong teamwork ethic.
