Our Senior Instructional Designers partner with their peers and our internal clients to analyze and identify learning needs. From there, they design and develop solutions for a variety of audiences that can include different modalities...everything from eLearning modules, multi-day structured learning events for virtual and in-person audiences, blended designs, to exciting media-based learning. We're big on gamification, interactive multimedia, video micro-learning, peer-to-peer learning, scenario-based learning, and content curation. Our designs are optimized for both mobile and desktop applications. Our Instructional Designers partner with others in our Learning & Workforce Capability organization to manage the deliverables for a training solution and create evaluation strategies for levels 1, 2 and 3. We're all about helping our stakeholders see how learning can improve business results!
Requirements:

  • Consultative skills to determine client learning needs and recommend learning solutions
  • Highly creative and consultative mindset with both strategic and tactical learning development expertise
  • Demonstrated expertise in communicating to various levels of leadership within the organization to engage SME's, sponsors, leaders, and advocates, drawing out learning requirements and performance support opportunities.
  • 3-5 years' experience using the following authoring tools for eLearning development:
    • Articulate Storyline
    • Articulate 360 and RISE
    • HTML 5
    • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with agility to effectively manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Highly organized and efficient, with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong discipline in technical writing and documentation
  • Demonstrated experience developing end to end training programs incorporating soft skills with technical based content
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Instructional Design principles (ADDIE and/or SAM)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Adult Learning Principles
  • Demonstrated experience developing complex and comprehensive (end to end) curriculum solutions independently.
  • Demonstrated experience developing a variety of eLearning solutions using gaming, reusable learning objects, simulations and video
  • Advanced skills in communication (written and verbal)
  • Advanced writing and editing capabilities
  • Experience with Info Mapping for Curriculum Development
  • Strong desktop skills to include Microsoft office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
  • Experience with instructional design software such as Articulate and Captivate.
  • Experience designing Instructor led, virtual led, and mobile learning solutions.
